Basic but Good!

Very reasonably priced and included breakfast. Breakfast was small but there was a little hot selection included. Staff were friendly and helpful. 25 minute walk into the old town/marina area or bus available from near the hotel. Walking in the opposite direction takes you to the coastal boardwalk. Fridge and safe available in the room. Room was very spacious.

Facilities are very basic, no toiletries except for hand soap. No kettle or tea/coffee making facilities. Not necessarily a bad thing, just an fyi really, but the room is not in the same building as the reception area. You have to walk out of the building to get to your room on the grounds.

A very big apartment, well equipped kitchen, a balcony. A comfortable bed. 2 swimming pools. Restaurants and a grocery nearby. Daily room cleaning.

Quiet, clean property with 2 nice pools and plentiful parking. Breakfast was very good. Staff are helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good.

It was a nice stay but bar staff were not friendly. Pool was freezing and the only stairs to get in the pool were broken

What was the highlight of Agua Hotels Vila Branca

Nice apartment for some days on holidays.

The apartment is cosy, and the bathroom and the room are very comfortable. Also, there's a small balcony on it but it wasn't used frequently due to the wind. The shared pools are nice and the location is not bad however, if you want to go to any of the nearest beaches its highly recommended to have a car.

The sofa bed in the living room is not very comfortable to sleep. I woke up a lot of times during the night due to it. Also, it's impossible to completely close the blinding during the night so there was always some clarity coming in in the early morning. The cleaning was good however, the staff didn't come up every day as expected. The fridge is too small and only a few utensils for cooking don't help if you want to cook at home.

Great stay and good location for beaches.

Great room and space, pool was lovely and all very clean. Breakfast had lots of choices. Parking right outside the apartment.

Could have done with a bit more furniture in the bedroom and sitting area. Had to pay a deposit for the hair dryer! 30 min walk into Old Town bit further than we expected but manageable.

Happy and comfortable.

Really nice and friendly reception staff. Showed us the way to the room. A hand-written greeting card and bottled water were on the table. We are happy with the room facility and feel it suits family travellers. I look forward to visiting and staying in the hotel in the summertime.

I am satisfied with the stay. We had the time of our lives here.

The breakfasts were good and tasty. The staff was usually very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and nicely located. The surroundings were quiet and at a reasonable distance from the centre and beaches. Thanks to its location we had an opportunity to go to every beach in Lagos and was never bored. There is a small local grocery just round the corner which is very useful to get our shopping. I could honestly stay there 2 months, not 2 weeks.

However, they lacked variety. It was the same menu every day. I would also recommend less focus on the British tourists and preparing the menu for what is usually eaten in the UK. It'd be much better if you offered locally eaten breakfasts. I would also appreciate it if the staff swept the floor every now and then as it was a bit messy after two weeks of stay.
